Landscape Design in Tampa, FLRight plant. Right place.

We walk the yard with you and sketch a plan for the front yard or one problem corner: bed lines, plant spots and HOA-friendly picks.

A clear plan, sketched with you.

Landscape Design, done right.

Some yards need a full refresh. Others need one corner sorted out.

Either way, we walk the yard with you and sketch a plan. The sketch shows the bed lines and where each plant should go.

We build it on Florida-Friendly Landscaping principles, and we shape it around what your HOA asks for.

We treat every yard as if it were our own.

What’s included

What you get every time.

A sketched plan for your front yard or one problem corner: bed lines and plant spots.

  • A walk through your yard

We walk the front yard, or the one corner that bothers you, and talk through what you want and what you do not.

  • A sketched plan

A sketch of the new layout, so you can see the bed lines and plant spots before anything is dug.

  • Bed lines that make sense

Curves or straight runs that follow the house, walk and trees, and are easy to mow around and edge.

  • Right plant, right place

We match each plant to the sun, shade and water at its spot. That is a Florida-Friendly Landscaping principle.

  • Mulch and efficient watering

Two more of those principles. The plan builds in mulch and thinks about how each bed will get its water.

  • HOA-friendly options

Tell us what your HOA asks for and we will work options around it, from plant choices to bed shapes.

Why it matters in Tampa

Built for Tampa yards.

Florida yards look best when the plants suit their spot.

The Florida-Friendly Landscaping program from UF/IFAS lists nine principles.

We build plans around three of them: right plant in the right place, water efficiently, and mulch.

Florida law says an HOA deed restriction cannot ban Florida-friendly landscaping.

Communities can still set standards, as long as a Florida-friendly yard is allowed.

So a plan can respect your HOA and still suit Tampa.

FAQ

Landscape Design questions.

Do you plan a whole yard or one area?

Either. Start with the front yard or one problem corner, or tell us about the whole yard.

We will sketch a plan that fits.

What do I get at the end?

A sketch of the plan with bed lines and plant spots, plus a talk-through so you know the reason behind each choice.

Can the plan work with my HOA?

Tell us what your HOA asks for and we will shape the plan around it.

Florida law says a deed restriction cannot ban Florida-friendly landscaping. Communities can still set standards.

Read your own rules too.

What does Florida-friendly mean?

It refers to the nine UF/IFAS Florida-Friendly Landscaping principles.

They include right plant, right place, water efficiently and mulch. It means working with Florida sun, soil and water.

How deep should mulch be?

UF/IFAS advises a 2 to 3 inch layer on plant beds, with at least 2 inches of space around tree trunks to prevent rot.
