The local angle

Town ’n’ Country is unincorporated, so Hillsborough County’s rules cover your lawn.

The county fertilizer rule restricts nitrogen and phosphorus from June 1 to September 30.

Where a lot borders a creek, canal or pond, fertilizer also stays 10 feet back from the water.

Watering is once a week under the current order, and some addresses are on City of Tampa Water, so tell us yours.

FAQ

Town ’n’ Country questions.

Do you work in all of Town ’n’ Country?

Yes.

Town ’n’ Country is in our service area, from the original Town ’n’ Country Park to Countryway and Bay Crest Park.

Tell us what the yard needs and we will look at it with you before we quote.

Can you fertilize my Town ’n’ Country lawn in the summer?

Not with nitrogen or phosphorus. Hillsborough County’s fertilizer rule restricts them from June 1 to September 30.

Fertilizer also stays 10 feet back from creeks, canals and ponds. We plan feeding around those dates and that setback.

Which watering day is mine?

Under the current order, Town ’n’ Country waters once a week, set by the last digit of your street number.

Some addresses are on City of Tampa Water. Tell us yours and we will help you confirm the schedule.
